Sterling July 2026 Platform Update
Sterling's July platform update continues our commitment to delivering regular, customer focused enhancements across the platform. This release places a strong emphasis on improving usability, collaboration, programme management, and Takeoff workflows, while introducing new capabilities for Forecasting and further enhancing the performance and user experience of Sterling Essentials.
From support for CSV programme imports and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes, to enhanced 3D revisioning, smarter formula suggestions, and improved Cost Planning workflows, this release helps users work faster, navigate complex projects more efficiently, and maintain greater confidence in their estimating and project data.
Sterling Essentials (Cost Planning & Estimating)
Sterling Essentials continues to evolve with enhancements that improve the day to day estimating experience, making Cost Plans easier to navigate and manage across larger projects. This release introduces improvements to Cost Item library management, structure assignment, formula creation, and revision analysis, helping estimators build and maintain estimates more efficiently.
Visual improvements within Cost Plans also make complex structures easier to understand, whilst enhanced formula suggestions reduce manual input and speed up estimate creation.

The continued evolution of the Sterling Takeoff Viewer delivers better performance and a more consistent experience across both large BIM models and traditional drawing based workflows.
