Sterling June 2026 Platform Update
Release 2026.06.01 | June 2026 Platform Update
Sterling’s mid June platform release focuses on three key areas: Takeoff, MCP integration, and Forecasting. This update is designed to improve day to day usability, increase performance on larger project datasets, and continue expanding the platform’s ability to connect approved Sterling data into wider digital and AI enabled workflows.
The release includes a new Takeoff Documents page, improved Takeoff navigation, enhanced BIM processing performance, updates to the Sterling Takeoff Viewer, further MCP Server integration improvements, and a more streamlined forecasting resource view.
Takeoff
Takeoff receives the largest set of improvements in this release, with updates focused on document access, model navigation, measurement workflows, and performance. The new Takeoff Documents page gives users a clearer route into project drawings, models, and related Takeoff activity, helping teams move more smoothly from document review into measurement and cost assignment.
The Takeoff experience has also been improved through better model tree navigation, clearer 2D and 3D grid presentation, enhanced archive visibility, and faster BIM element processing. These changes help users manage larger models and more complex project datasets with greater confidence.
